Poof-poofs

One of the many things that differentiates Lunia from other planets is its strange ecosystem and its limited biodiversity. Other than the lunians themselves, who are still waiting to be reanimated and come out of their seedpods, the only creature that seems to roam the surface of the violet planet are the poof-poofs.

Poof-poofs are unique for many reasons. They are quite small (around 5cms of diameter), move around by jumping, and they don’t seem to have any physiological needs like sleeping or eating.

It is also noteworthy that poof-poofs were initially scattered all over the lit side of Lunia, but are now clearly concentrating around the Great Seed. As it usually happens, there is a good reason for this. This little creatures are made of an unknown form of pure energy. As they gather closer and closer to the Great Seed and the lunian seedpods, these devices seem to be gaining power. Their indicator lights now glow brighter, the vital signs reflected on their screens appear more vivid, and the vapor in the hatch created by the breathing of the creatures inside has become more significant.

Whatever the role poof-poofs play in Lunia’s ecosystem exactly, its is clearly related to the existance and subsistance of the lunians. Once the seedpods get open, we will surely discover more of their secrets.
